NFL: ***2022 NFL Season Thread***

Down goes Dallas. That was unexpected

Didn't watch the game, but Trevor Lawrence seems to have figured this thing out.

Amazing what a little coaching can do.

True, I do think Lawrence is starting to figure things out, but this was a team that the Lions completely shut down last week. Granted, the Lions are also a team that's starting to figure things out, but the defense is still a weak part of that team. And I know playing the transitive properties game with the NFL is stupid because in any given week any team can beat another (I mean, the Texans were this close to beating the Chiefs today). It's just yet another year people trying to convince me that the Cowboys aren't once again the most overrated team in the NFL. Sure, they might be better than in years past, but they're still not the championship threat that people want to hype them up to be.

He was hired as the interim coach. I doubt he stays on.
Yeah he was hired as an interim head coach at the highest level with zero coaching experience at any level. He shouldn't have even had the opportunity with so many other more qualified candidates already in the building. It was a real "good old boys" club move and insulting to all the other coaches that have spent years in the league trying to further their careers.

It amazes me how dumb professional athletes can be. In what world is that a good idea?

Ehh. Maybe they sucked? I doubt Indy hires within.

I THINK Stevenson didn't make an awful play, but then Meyers wasn't thinking about the situation
He his was moderately safe probably still best to get to OT. But no idea why he thought a backwards pass across the field was smart
