At this point it's just a matter of figuring out who will still be playing by the end of the year.

Yeah, losing Gary would be pretty crushing. He's a lynch pin of that defense. At this point it's just a matter of figuring out who will still be playing by the end of the year.
By his own standards is a very important notation. I wouldn't say Allen owned him. I think he had a better defense behind him with better playmaker and yes he beat him. I think Bills have a much more complete roster. Allen is really good too but patrick is unanimous number 1 pick in NFL If you polled every GM today. You might want to pick a season where Mahomes isn't having a fairly pedestrian one, at least by his own standards, before you start making claims like "the two aren't even that close". Especially when they played head-to-head earlier this year Allen owned Mahomes. And it was in KC.
Yeah, they have severely underperformed, and not just this year, either considering the talent they havenot surprising

I think most in season firings are pretty BS. What does it really gain you.? The season mostly lost by that point. Very rarely will the interim HC get the job anyway.Am I wrong in thinking that this is an absolute clown shoes move?
The only time I can see it making sense, is a culture issue. If the locker room is divided or feuding, then I can understand the reasoning (ie Urban Meyer). Otherwise, I agree, I don't see much gain from it.I think most in season firings are pretty BS. What does it really gain you.? The season mostly lost by that point. It is 100% a clown shoes move. He's so wildly, wildly unqualified it defies belief. How many minority coaches over the years haven't gotten the job because they're told they don't have the experience, even though they've been a coach in the NFL for years? And then they give Saturday the job when he's never coached at the college or pro level. It's laughable.Am I wrong in thinking that this is an absolute clown shoes move?
