NFL: ***2022 NFL Season Thread***

Lmao! Leave it to my Bears, best game they've played in probably 4 or 5 years and what do they do? Give away their best lineman for a guy who has a 50/50 shot of even making the team.

No reason they shouldn't have gotten a 1st or 2nd round pick.
I assume its just a salary dump, like when the moved Mack. I think they're 'tanking' this year for a high pick; next year they're going to have a ton of cap room.

No way were they getting a 1st for Quinn, they didn't even get that for Mack. I would have expected a 3rd, or maybe a 4th and a future late rounder, but Quinn is 32 with 2 years left on his contract and inconsistent production in his time in Chicago.

Its been very apparent that Poles' focus since he stepped in has been clearing the books of bad contracts and opening up cap space, while collecting draft capital where they could. He was probably trying to trade Quinn before the season, but wasn't able to find a willing partner.

I'm still not sold on Fields. At his best, he completes only 60% of his passes and the way he runs is going to get him hurt.
I'm reserving judgment until they get him some better receivers. They need to tank for one of the Ohio State guys. Mooney is solid but a 5'11, 170 pound guy as your alpha isn't cutting it.

I read Quinn has been getting double teamed around 30% of the time, up almost 10% from last year. Chicago has no other pass rush threat, so they just focus on Quinn. In Philly that probably won't happen, so he'll see a spike in production.

It's like management is just trolling everyone.

Kind of like calling this season a 'rebuild' like things have been ao good.

Lol, wut? They should be 6-1 if Lamar didn't self destruct against the Giants and their defense didn't give up 5 Tds to Tua I'm the 2nd half. They only lost to Buffalo by 3 also.
Lol. “Their record would be better if they’d won more games!”

AJ Klein with a poor attempted tackle on that TD. But glad to see him still in the league.
