Nice call to go through Edwards, he needed the ball on the last possession too. Need to hand him the reins, its his team now.
Ja took over and that dunk at the end of the 3rd...damn. He's the next big thing.
They are the dumbest playing hard team so far in the playoffs.
They are the laziest rebounding NBA team Ive ever seen. It’s like a bunch of 5 year olds going under the hoop and standing there.
I bet the league hopes they lose next game and are forgotten so this narrative goes away.
This narrative only goes away when they win, might be next week, might be next year, might be....? It's the only way you shake it.
They are far and away the worst at turnovers and fouls in these playoffs. Just sloppy.
It starts with KAT. He can obviously put up some numbers but he's just not a guy I trust in a big spot. He loves to do the fake-tough-guy thing and then get outworked despite his size.
Guy thinks he's Embiid but he's nowhere close.
Just completely unprepared and undisciplined. I think Chuck said it after the first collapse-- they are great until they have to grind out offense and then they can't do it. For alot of the game you can play in transition, but when it gets close late you have to be able to work your offense and score, and they just can't do that.
There is clearly an inexperience factor. They have some stretches with terrible shot selection, getting out of control, and some bad gambles on defense that lead to buckets.
But Finch does some head-scratching things, particularly playing KAT when he's in foul trouble AND gassed, and goes some way to long stretches with Edwards on the bench. And when those horrible stretches are happening he lets it ride way too long.
