NBA: 2022 NBA Playoffs

Really hope Nuggets can get Murray, MPJ, and Jokic all healthy together next year. They should be scary good

What is going on with Murray? He's had one hell of a long rehab (by pro athlete standards) for a torn ACL. I've seen some mentions on twitter that it's partly a mental thing at this point.

GSW shooting % in Q4 was ridiculous. They are a scary offensive team right now.

You can't totally blame the organization because of the injuries, but Denver maybe letting a title or two slip away with Jokic playing so many games without some super star supporting players. Monte has probably been their second best player over past two years when you look at total games, minutes, etc. He's my favorite player/Cyclone and has proven this year he can be a starter in the league but he's not the second scoring option or defensive enforcer they need.

These two years are very likely some of the greatest of all time for a player to not win a championship, Jokic might already have an argument for greatest statistical player without a ring, Malone jumps to mind as the other one to most consider.

last year:
26.4ppg, 10.8 rebounds, 8.3 assists, 57%FG
This year:
27.1ppg, 13.8 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 58%FG

3rd all time in player efficiency rating behind only MJ and LBJ. To shoot that % and be such a historic passer, if they had any pieces at all around him as shooters and defensive stoppers.

I think you're in great shape if Monte is your first guard off the bench, if he's starting for you, well you're probably not getting very far in the playoffs. Super solid guy, but not a playoff level difference maker on either end.

I just absolutely love watching the Warriors.

Things just fell right for them for a second run. Those couple rough years allowed them to have guys like Poole develop while getting younger with Kuminga and Wiseman (who knows what you have there). Almost seems unfair to add a guy like Poole to the mix in that back court.

He’d be a fine starting point next to a long elite scoring guard (nuggets don’t have even when healthy) and a team whose center isn’t already the best passer in the league making it less of a feature for him to be an elite half court ball handler. He was clearly stepping it up at times in the series when few others besides Jokic could.

Just the fact that he’s been healthy and playing hard might make him their #2 producer these past two years…which is not enough help for NJ.

T wolves give up 17 OR again. Just a pathetic effort again. A below average rebounding effort and they win the series 4-1. Purely lazy standing around.

Very quick turnaround for the Grizzlies. They stay here tonight, travel back to Memphis tomorrow, then host the Warriors for an early afternoon game Sunday.

I think Warriors roll in Game 1. (That means I'm guessing around 10 pt win)
