Big 12 crowds feel like they've caught up with the action. Oklahoma schools environment are still a bit down but this BU crowd is legit. Texas has been good with the new arena as well.

Duke lost at Virginia Tech. Quad 1 loss so it's minimal, actually probably more of a boost for VT (languishing around the bubble) -- it's on fringe of Q1 ... Duke currently 29th

I watched that one. VT player made a shot under 10 did a fist pump while turning around and decked a Dukie in the throat.

Glad Duke lost but I guess you're allowed to punch people really hard in the throat now and it's not a flagrant? Officiating is just so bad in this sport right now.

this KU looks nothing like the team we played. Something happened. they are missing everything. airballs. missed layups. It's two games but if they lose by 10+ tonight after losing by 23 at home...and looking at their upcoming schedule, they are in trouble for even finishing top 4 in the league

I had a similar thought ... KU will find a way to "get right" just in time for trip to Hilton.

I try not to think that way, but I can't avoid it, in "sports superstition" mode.
