well. the OU win sure looks a lot better all the sudden.
I think this conference is just going to beat up on each other all year.

OU goes on the road and beats Texas Tech in OT! Tech is 0-3 coming into the Iowa State game. They're gonna play us with the desperation of a wounded animal.

No sure thing in this conference, this season, but it'd be a huge bummer to lose at home to Tech.

Tech has no road wins, is 0-4 vs. Quad 1, lost at TCU and home vs OU (ISU has won both in those scenarios), 9 of its 10 wins are vs. Quad 4.

But: I realize, some teams have match-up advantages vs. specific opponents, I'm not taking anything for granted. It'd suck to deflate a couple of solid/high-level road wins losing at home to a team that probably is going to finish in bottom-third of Big 12.

I don't care if it's an ugly win, just get it, and move on to at KU.

We were talking about that during the game. Many of the coaches are wearing warm ups and quarter-zips. Do any coaches wear a tie anymore?

A lot of coaches went more casual during the covid season, and it stuck because honestly its not a tradition that makes much sense anymore.

Boise State took it to Utah State 82-59, got chippy at the end don't think those two teams like each other much.

Closing out my night watching UNLV New Mexico. These both look like they could be dangerous tournament teams.

Fran has to keep it casual for freedom of movement when he and Fran Jr. actually throw hands with some refs.

He was horrible but Johnson might be worse. We need to keep pounding the recruiting trail there before he’s canned.
It’s incredible how bad Minnesota is given the HS basketball talent the state produces. I don’t know if it’s the program or the university as a whole but local kids just don’t seem to want to play there.
