***2022-23 CFB Bowl Games Thread***

This game is so similar to the 2001 Orange Bowl won by Oklahoma over FSU with Josh Heupel at QB. The Seminoles passed up and down the field but kept bogging down, missing FGs, etc. and lost 13-2.

Notre Dame South Carolina all tied up. Seems Notre Dame is more steady, and S. Car is relying heavily on bowl prep gimmicks home crowd energy. Starting to even out.
ND’s frosh QB Buchner looked very impressive. He‘ll be a good one for the Irish.

Will be interesting. Clemson moved the ball, they just choked inside the red zone and converting FGs. Dabo isn't a bad coach, going to be fun to see what adjustments he makes. The frosh QB is talented but still very shaky against the high pressure Vols D. If I were Clemson I'd be p*ssed that I'm down 14-3 because it should've/could've been 14-9 minimum. But if I'm Tennessee I'm also not thrilled to only be up 14-3 after being very much in control most of the first half.

Tennessee has a couple pro soccer level actors out there, fishing for flags.

ESPN gave Peyton Manning an honorary 1998 National Championship ring!
/ sarcasm
Tee Martin was their National Championship QB.
ESPN Goofs!

Unless he doesn't want to sit behind Sam Hartman for a year. If I'm Buchner and I see my coaches bringing in a transfer and presumably lining up a big NIL check for him, I may be looking at opportunities elsewhere.

@Prone2Clone I was beign sarcastic. It was a graphic mistake when they showed Peyton in the crowd. Some young interm just ASSUMED he was the QB on that team.
