When we defeat Kansas on Saturday, all this seed line angst will dissipate. Just wait and see.
we kinda did with TCUThis team reminds me a lot of Johnny Orr teams...amazing at home. Dogshite on the road. I think we're gonna knock off someone no one expects us to on the road still

I meant for remaining games. Both TCU and OU are huge wins.we kinda did with TCU
Not happening, this team is broken. We had Grill back last night raining 3s and even that didn't matter now. When we defeat Kansas on Saturday, all this seed line angst will dissipate. Just wait and see.
Welp let's just not play the games we have remaining. We're broke right? What's the point then. Who cares that were are night and day home vs road right? Who cares we're a game out of first with a starter who hasn't played in a month. Who cares that our three losses are by a total of 7 points. Not happening, this team is broken. We had Grill back last night raining 3s and even that didn't matter now.

There's too much 'but they led the conference in late January!' without recognizing how the final 6 weeks' schedule doesn't care especially in the B12 currently.
That doesn't excuse last night; that was awful but there are other losses out there that would have negated the title deal.
It's continually surprising how many on Twitter, especially the sky is falling fans, react to a loss. I've seen several ranting about how this loss and this loss alone unquestionably drops us from a 3 seed to an 8 seed. LOL. I can't.
I wouldn't go quite that far. This team already has two conference road wins, and I'm not sure how many times Johnny accomplished that. This team reminds me a lot of Johnny Orr teams...amazing at home. Dogshite on the road. I think we're gonna knock off someone no one expects us to on the road still
This is what is disappointing about this team. We will be Kansas this week and then lose to a team that we should win...Not happening, this team is broken. We had Grill back last night raining 3s and even that didn't matter now.
Admittedly, it is pretty sad that Grill had a career night, if not historic for the program, yet now has nothing to show for it. Guy was like 8 for 9 from 3pt before getting to desperation mode. That's just absurd. Busted. NBA Jam numbers. Not happening, this team is broken. We had Grill back last night raining 3s and even that didn't matter now.
The team isn't broken. They're an overachieving team going through a tough stretch. They need to adjust to some of the things teams are doing nowNot happening, this team is broken. We had Grill back last night raining 3s and even that didn't matter now.
There are a handful of threads on this site that are a sanctuary from a lot of the nonsense and this is one. Thanks for keeping it going!A small aside, but I want to thank everybody who frequents this thread (and it really is the same cast of characters) for being civil and calm relative to the rest of the (free) boards. @Jeremy was at his breaking point over some events this weekend in some of the threads, but I've seen none of that here. Maybe the "computer projections" thread title scares people off -- here be the nerds and their calculators. Perhaps that means we can detach ourselves from the game-to-game results a little bit while remaining passionate fans.

There shouldn't be any angst. Last night's loss was not a major blow to our resume. It's a quad 1 loss. There will be more of those, I promise. When we defeat Kansas on Saturday, all this seed line angst will dissipate. Just wait and see.
You're describing all teams other than like the all time greats. This is what is disappointing about this team. We will be Kansas this week and then lose to a team that we should win...
This team can play with the best but also can lose to the worst. Until we can win with consistency against teams that we should win, we are going to struggle to compete at the top overall for the season.
Eh, I’ve seen plenty of good Iowa State teams lose to bad KSU teams in Manhattan. Not a place with a huge amount of success over the years.I've seen worse ISU teams win in Manhatten. ISU typically plays well in the State of Kansas.
