2019 Commits Stats & Senior Performance

Tre Jackson won a three point contest at the tournament his high school team is playing at. I saw unofficially on twitter he had 24 pts, 12 boards, and 10 asts in the game before the contest as well.

But, as some naysayers have pointed out, he plays in a smaller class conference. Let's see him do this against better competition before we label him as a good outside shooter. (Doesn't need a jimlad, I hope.)

There will be naysayers about every recruit. If that bothers you, it’s on you. Some hesitation on labeling prior to a recruit playing in the Big 12 should not upset you.

Agree and Idc what the naysayers are saying but in regards to Jackson's competition, what's being said isn't true. People making things up and using the wrong information to label a kid, that shouldn't happen. That's much different than questioning if someone is a big 12 player.

Leech finished second in a dunk contest at a Missouri holiday tournament. He lost in a tiebreaker with his teammate.

Prohm keeping the tradition of elite prep dunker's infusion into Ames.
Obviously I appreciate the Monte, Georges, and Thomas solid finishing but, having a 3 straight years of poster worthy dunks in Hilton (Burton, Wigginton, and Horton-Tucker) being extended to 4+ does add to the the Magic, ;-)

An earlier tweet from this writer says Anderson made six 3's in the 1st quarter

Good find...
I really think Anderson may be least hyped freshman coming in, which considering the intrigue of Leech and late rise in play Jackson is is showing is understandable, but I think Luke may be the earliest to break the 8 man rotation. The staff identified him early and made him the priority of the class for a reason, they have a plan for him.
His ability to play point forward and shoot the 3 should translate right away in a backup role..

Not as bad as the ******** about Georges
Were people seriously complaining about offering Niang? Hell, Fraschilla was talking him up during an ISU game while Georges was still a Senior in HS, talking about this great skilled offensive player that ISU fans were going to love next season.
