Same with Haliburton last season.

I was excited to get Haliburton because the kid can shoot and pass. Saying that, he has exceeded my expectations by an incredible margin. Just thought he would struggle getting on the floor with his lack of strength. So far so good.

He’s in the middle of his HS season and just coming off injury.

Don’t be a weirdo. Why would ASU let a kid they don’t know, who is committed to another school use their facilities?

It’s a totally different situation than had he grown up around there.

A “weirdo”? Are you serious? In the first place, I was responding to the statement that Marcedus didn’t even know where Arkansas State’s campus is.

I won’t bother addressing the other points in your reply. Apparently, you simply didn’t read my post as I’d intended.

I still chuckle a little thinking about how people we're pulling their hair out when Tre committed.

I don’t recall anyone “pulling their hair out”. But, I guess if you need a “chuckle”, go for it.

For that matter, I don’t recall anyone tearing their hair out over Halliburton. I do remember lots and lots of immediate comparisons to Diante Garrett—which isn’t a bad thing. So, how is that “tearing their hair out”?

Just asking.

I’m still not expecting Tre to be great at anything but as a shooter, and helping fill in at point when necessary. If he exceeds expectations—as Halliburton has—I’m good with that.

Now Marcedus, I’m expecting to be awesome. The people who bemoaning his “ranking”? Now that’s funny!

Full game highlights. Tre Jackson had 22.

Really excited about Jackson's ability to play the point. That full-court bounce pass was exceptional. I see him getting significant PT next season as a backup to Haliburton, as well as playing alongside him as Haliburton/Babb have done this season.

Nixon appears to be more of a scorer than a PG and you have to like that he was coached by LE at Colo. State. Hopefully, he picked up some defensive toughness from LE which he will contribute to the team culture as Shayok has done.

People definitely bitched about Haliburton as well as Tre. Granted, they aren't people who know anything. That list is quite limited.
