I was wrong about result, but certainly not about ISU's vastly better talent and potential this season. While not all of this is on the coaches, there is enough of it on the coaches that a complete overhaul needs done.
I watched portions of last week's game, and the play by play guy said ISU's offensive line could very well be the best in the B12. I'm not sure I agree with that, but I guess I'll let it help make my point.
There was absolutely no reason given how poor the B12 is this year, and ISU's vastly improved talent that ISU shouldn't be going to a bowl game this season.
Unless I'm missing something obvious, the issue is systemic. And in order to be corrected now an extremely tough decision needs to be made. The answer, as much as it will anger some of you, might be to do nothing until there is a better environment to be looking for a new coaching staff as it would be difficult to do this right now.
Not being a fan of ISU, it is still impossible to not feel for the athletes and most of the fanbase.
When was the last time there was a good "environment" to be looking for a coach?
