Historic day for anyone who stumbled upon FX at 4pm after elementary school in the 90s.

What a great tv show, the fact that the new Batman doesn't carry around shark repellent spray on his utility belt is an abomination.

I watched about 30 minutes of the movie this past weekend on one of the movie channels( IFC?) It's so good. At least I think it was a movie, it seemed to be at least an hour long.

I remember watching it after school in the 70s & 80s. The movie they made with all the villains was great. Shark repellent. Ha!

Yeah I think that's what I was watching this past weekend. Was the movie the one where people we being zapped with the gun that turns you into dust and they had to find a way to "rehydrate" you back to life?

That's the one.

It's so cool to go back and watch the episodes, especially with some of the weird villains, but so many of them were hugely accomplished film and stage stars.

They had so many people begging to be a villain, that's why they had to do the cameos where the celebs would pop out of the windows during the "bat-climbs" because they couldn't come up with enough roles.

Plus, it's hilarious to go back now and catch all the double-entendres that went over your head as a kid.

I approve. All this new Batman stuff is way too serious. Batman should be campy and fun.

nananananananananana BATMAN nananananananaana BATMAN

Surf rock Batman forever.

Julie Newmar in spandex still makes me light headed. So many killer episodes hard to pick a favorite. Today: Mr. Freeze locks Batman and Robin in a cooler freezing them solid. Beginning of next episode they jump up and pound his henchmen. Batman dead pans it was fortunate they were wearing Bat thermal underwear.

Who else could climb the side of a building and have a conversation?
