I think it is probable that we only lose 1 maybe 2. The tough games are at home so they aren't as worrisome. I think of that list we lose either @A&M or @KState, but win the rest.
Oh for crying outloud you guys, I do that on purpose to simulate the speech and sound of sarcasm. ...undestrand?
We should be favored to win all the conference games in January. It's just a matter of whether or not we "slip up".
Fair enough, I never claimed to be a genius. It just seems as if teams get up more for an opponent with a higher ranking.
Guys like Vitale, Seth Davis, Jon Rothstein, all have ISU in the top 10.
Unlike lots of the press voting I think these guys actually have exposure to all teams, and can make more informed decisions.
Also there is some conference bias and homer bias.
WV moved up 8 spots after beating KSU in the Charleston's WV writers ballot.

I think we all need to realize that we're going to be on the good side of mediocre. The era of Iowa State potentially having really nice things is ova.
