Paterno also would not be getting a contract from anywhere else in the country right now, so your argument doesn't make sense.

That said, I don't know what is with people's issue with age either.

I think Hill would be a good coach and all he needs is asst's with familiarity to the area(read: not his fishing buddies)

you are a jerk....Jeff Johnson (while embarrassing some with his cheers) does more for ISU > you ever dreamed of, is a great ambassador to the university, and does far more than just getting donations.
