They said the other day he only needed them to see the signs. With Pitch Com he doesn't need themDoesnt Assad usually wear glasses?
Some here think he is a better option in the rotation than Taillon too. He's best in a 2-3 inning long relief role and a swing starter when you need him but he's not a guy you count on to make it through a season as a starter.Assad 11 hits and 9 ER in 4.1. Yikes.

Counsell NEVER sounds happy. Barely smiles. If that’s just who he is then he probably shouldn’t be leading a team in this era of baseball. He seems to have a personality of a rock.Counsell is just not a leader. Always sounds depressed too.
If Hoyer had done any homework at all before hiring him, betcha any Brewer front office staffer or player would have told him Murphy has been the straw that stirs the drink in Milwaukee since 2016.
I follow this thread pretty closely. ImSome here think he is a better option in the rotation than Taillon too. He's best in a 2-3 inning long relief role and a swing starter when you need him but he's not a guy you count on to make it through a season as a starter.
My bad if I inferred this. Rea has definitely been effective for filling a role that he was never intended to when he was signed last year. Pretty sure the Cubs envisioned him as a long reliever that would get occasional starts not a full time starter. He was setup to do that this season then we had the series of injuries and now he's back to being in the rotation again.I follow this thread pretty closely. Im
More critical of Taillon than anyone. Please show me where someone suggested Assad over Taillon.
Since the start of 25 we’re 18-10 when Rea starts. I believe that’s better than anyone other than Horton. I’ve absolutely said he should be starting.
I don't think it's an injury. Bernes is going down after last night since he won't be available for 3 days and Boyd will be ready the next time they need a 5th starter so you can send Assad down.Must be another injury as 2 pitchers are apparently coming up
Cubs Roster Move: Luke Little Reportedly Coming Up (UPDATE: Ryan Rolison, Too) - Bleacher Nation
Or Little goes right back down. He again has shown he can't find the strike zone this year.I don't think it's an injury. Bernes is going down after last night since he won't be available for 3 days and Boyd will be ready the next time they need a 5th starter so you can send Assad down.
Yeah he has good stuff when he's at this best but health and control are not 2 things he's had a lot of.Or Little goes right back down. He again has shown he can't find the strike zone this year.
