This flustrates me as well. I loose my mind when they're are misused words and phrases.
Yea, I see that way more often then I used to.

De-evolution is real.
I get equally frustrated when I hear people say "agreeance." IT'S NOT A WORD.
Isn't it just part of the natural evolution of language? People don't talk like they did 50 years ago. 100 years ago was even more different.
It pisses me off that the word "unthaw" is actually in the dictionary.

“All of a sudden” is the typical phrase, not “all of the sudden.” ”Sudden” is an adjective and not really a noun and shouldn’t take “the,” I guess, in my quick and probably not accurate analysis of the situation. But if you think too hard about it neither phrase makes a lot of logical sense.
All of "a" sudden.
Update: @KidSilverhair beat me to it ... all of the sudden ... suddenly out of nowhere.
idk... neither of those phrases make any sense gramatically.

Irregardless, a lot of people are on tender hooks when they're grammer is corrected.
