If they have the coolflo gear that I had 20 years ago they're the most comfortable people on the field. As soon as you get it wet it gets cold.

Had 2" in my rain gauge from about an hour of pouring rain in Indianola. Sounds like most areas to our north and east got a hell of a lot more.
2.5 inches last night in Grimes (NW side of town)
With this rain and the last one, we got a little water in our basement. Not a ton, but enough to make the concrete floor wet along one wall. Not sure if these are anomalies or we need to see if there's a bigger issue. :-/

Central WDM it poured hard. The first event put at least 3"+ in the gauge before I went to sleep. It was close to 5" this morning.
Could just be an anomaly-but one that could repeat. Given the ground saturation maybe your foundation drainage was pushed to the limit. We have lived in our present home for 30 years and had a small amount of water on the (unfinished) basement floor 2 or 3 times. all a result of water gurgling up where our geothermal lines exit the basement floor. and all when the ground was saturated and subsequent rains taxed the foundations drainage capabilities I don't have a sump pump system nor do I have gutters on the house. Rare, but it happens. My situation could be easily rectified if I put a diamond wheel in my 4" disc grinder and cut a shallow channel to the nearest floor drain three feet away, but I just haven't had the time

Needed that rain, could do without the wind.. Crazy how fast things went from crispy to lush overnight.
Hopefully get some more rain Thur/Friday, which would keep the yard mostly green through July with no irrigation. At this point, I'll probably just keep the system off this year
