***OFFICIAL 2026 WEATHER THREAD***

Luckily my river birch caught it from heading into the neighbors house across the street. Lol
I have no idea how that thing caught air. Must have hit the house and went straight up or had a mini tornado because there is only one row of houses where that thing could have came from if not a tornado.

What the **** are you talking about?? It was 98-100 degrees, 77 dew point, feels like in the 110s. That is the literally definition of bad out.
Bad is when you have to sit through a baseball or softball tournament. Took the day off I donated plasma, got a sandwich in Norwoodville, and grabbed a few groceries for blts tonight. Yes I got tomatoes from a stand. So I didn’t think it was that bad.
 
Going to be difficult to get a rain amount here in N. Ames because of the high winds we were getting during the storm. Just checked my gauge and it was almost 3 inches, so I would say we got at least 2.5 here in N. Ames. My gauge tends to run heavy.
