Post Malone/Jellyroll concert at Jack Trice

No they’ve been canceling the ones with the worst sales. Not sure why their ticket sales have been so poor.
Concert tickets nationwide are down. Ticketmaster is pricing themselves out of the market. People used to be able to afford going to 4-5 concerts a year, now they have to save up and generally attend 1-2 instead.

There is a KFAN morning host who is the lead singer in a band. He said they have no control over ticket prices. Ticketmaster has used realtime data to adjust prices as demand increases. He said the tickets started for $20 for a show and he got a call from a fan asking why they were charging $50.

I’m listening from the parking lot. The echo is really bad. Don’t think it was this bad for Luke Combs. Curious if it’s echo-y inside as well.

I’m in north Ames right now I can hear the show plan as day. Can you kids quiet that racket down, I’m trying to sleep!

We just left the Cafe, and heard someone singing. Don't recognize song or voice.

FWIW the Combs concert was far better (and I am not really a fan of any of the music by the big names).

Sound was better (Post and JR had too much bass and it was hard to hear their voices and the lyrics).

Then Post came out in Hawkeye gear which went over like a wet fart in church - he finally took his shirt off midway through after his crew told him.

The concert was mostly full but not as many as George Strait and definitely not as much as Luke Combs.

For us it didn’t help that we were sitting in front of a group of self absorbed college girls that were spilling drinks and kept kicking our seats and dancing and hitting us.

TM had tickets at half the price of what they originally went on sale for right up until the concert started. Someone said that TM is getting bad for pricing and I can attest. Tried to sell a parking pass on TM, put my price down (under face). Go to look at the listing and TM decided to apply reference based pricing and sell my below face pass for $50 above face- WTF…… now I see why no one was interested.

I think it is fair to say they won’t be going to any more of their concerts.
