by suing the ncaa for more TV money and having coaches like Barry switzer. How? By leaving the Big 12? That’s a stretch.
In addition to the other things already mentioned, negotiating with UT, ESPN and the SEC behind the back of the rest of the conference. How? By leaving the Big 12? That’s a stretch.
Sorry I missed your meaning, and I agree with you. As Gentner Drummond, Oklahoma AG, wrote in a recent letter to the Big 12, "Its (Tech's) leadership has prioritized winning over sport, over honor, and over integrity." Well stated!
David Cook was on Iowa Press this week- sounds like there is going to be a presidents meeting with Yormark to discuss Tech and Sorsby on MondayI hope we see statements from several other state AGs that are similar.
I think with the supplemental draft deadline next week, Sorsby would be wise to declare for it.As I said a few days ago, I'll be shocked if Sorsby plays a single down for Tech. Unfortunately, it won't be because Tech has suddenly seen the light and decided to do the noble thing. It will be because the Big 12 has called their bluff and taken this matter to federal court.
I could be wrong, but that's how I see it playing out.
Well, I'll eat my crow. The Big 12 didn't chicken out and actually managed to get TTU back in line. When the Big 12 inevitably backs down from doing anything, the Big 10 and SEC are going to act like they would do something different if it was their conference.
It's a completely different outlook if they didn't give the conference a free pre-emptive setup for a lawsuit. Went a little too far with their bravado.Well, I'll eat my crow. The Big 12 didn't chicken out and actually managed to get TTU back in line.
