I agree even if you get both challenges you don't get a 3rd so it's really not worth it.
Fox is a big add. SA has really missed his handle and has been turning it over a lot.
The NBA needs an embellishment foul like the NHL. Even if there is contact, if the player exaggerates their fall or impact, it should be a double foul. And that embellishment can be called by a video referee without a challenge.
Idk why they stopped calling and fining guys for flopping. If anything should of been enforced more.
After game one it looked like this was going to be an incredible series, but OKC and the refs have turned it into a pretty boring slog. God they're annoying.
They have to do something, this OKC team is awful to watch.
A couple years back the NBA put in rules about guys jumping into contact to get fouls. It seams they’ve totally bailed on that and now are calling everything again. Spurs not really helping themselves either getting too aggressive on D and letting OKC get calls. Can’t really blame OKC for taking advantage of of a loophole but it’s not that fun to watch.
I think you’ve e still got to give them the call if the defender goes up. But maybe if the offensive player just throws the ball up you get it side out of bounds instead of free throws. Let the refs determine if it is a legitimate attempt at the basket or just fishing for FTs.
I think they got a legitimate shot to win it all and won't be as big of underdog in final as some.
I expect closer to OKC vs Pacers type than a sweep or 5 games. Going to be tough to win @MSG
Spurs/OKC is the finals this year. NY is playing well, but either team out of the west probably beats them in 5.
