Last year it was certain Jefferson, Tamin, and Milan would get about 30 minutes a game. Other than Milan, I not sure this roster has guys that will play that much. Time will tell.

If he doesn't and for some reason decides he is withdrawing a couple weeks he still has options. Sucks for TJ and the team, but it is what it is.

I've thought since he first announced he was putting his name into the NBA draft that it meant the most likely scenario with anything but a first round grade that Milan will be playing college basketball in somebody else's uniform next year. Signing the first four visits of targeted guys on the first portal weekend was an indicator the staff had an idea the Milan money wasn't something they were likely sitting on. Hopefully they can still sign Prather and find a piece to do a bit of what Milan did for ISU.

It's a new age and I'm still trying to get in the swing of it. It would have been awesome to cheer Milan next year but I'll root for who I have.

The staff needs to do better than him, Bully and Bond as Milan's "replacement". Will be interesting to see if they now pursue a better CG/Wing portal option than those 3.

You’ll be able to tell quickly I think - if Prather commits today you’ll have your answer. If more visits are scheduled, then it’s the opposite.

I would say a two-headed replacement (platoon) at the ‘3’ with Bond and Prather makes sense. They have very different skill sets that complement each other.

That just the way it works now - I think everyone who enters the draft is technically putting their name in the portal as well.

He could still come back - although the announcement today seemed very final.

I have absolutely NO animosity toward Milan for this decision or toward TJ for needing a clear answer. I hope Milan gets drafted or at least has a 2-way guarantee and is done with cbb, but I also will cheer for him if he ends up in another college uniform. Hopefully not an ISU opponent.
