*** Official Kentucky vs #6 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

I hope nobody needs more proof that teams with elite veteran guards make runs in this tournament. If Lipsey would have been out instead of Jefferson we may never have found our groove. If you have a guy that can control tempo you a great chance of winning.
As much as this is true always. Toure is ready. That spin cycle is phenomenal and if he can continue to improve his kickouts thats going to go a long way too. He's playing like an upperclassmen now too.

Our coaches should hit the tunnel after and recruit a few that want to find a place to go and win
They're allowed to contact players in the portal so I have no doubt they've already started contacting players. The chances of landing talent that fits ISU will only increase after this game. The right type of players may even be contacting the staff after today's game, "right type" being hard workers who love playing defense.

BYU fan here. I couldn't be happier than to see T.J. and the Cyclones win this game. Even better, they did it in typical Otzball fashion. Kentucky had no idea what hit them. I think I read that their 20 turnovers was the most turnovers in one game their program has ever had.

I've been telling people out here they need to keep an eye on the Cyclones because they are probably the best-coached team in the nation. If you guys can get JJ back you may just take it all. Duke is going to be tough, but I have faith in TJ and the way your team plays, because your TEAM plays the game the way it SHOULD be played. I certainly wish you all the luck in the world and I REALLY hope you go all the way. Go Clones!

Good stuff.
For my part, even if Duke is tough, that's a championship game. I'd be sort of OK with getting there.

I may be in the minority here, but I like Buchanan a lot. If he works on his dribbling and improves free throw shooting a bit, he will be an absolute monster next year.
Buchanan has been awesome for us this year. There is a small vocal minority on here that has a problem with him but he is a near perfect fit for TJ’s style of play
