My initial thoughts:

They fouled us repeatedly to get in the bonus just in case, but my wife pipes up are they going to foul again to put us at the line so we can only get 2? I thought, damn, maybe so - then Tamin splashes the last 1 but then I'm thinking, "oh crap, they have it last"

Thanks. Helluva game. ISU was the better team for the majority of the game. Milan was amazing! That 2nd half was always coming down to a last shot. UA got lucky. Milan vs Del Orso 3 point festival was a trip. ISU a very real threat to get to the FF with the right draw (goes for UA as well). Get rested, healthy and go kick some butt in the tourney 'Clones. I'll be pulling for you.
this just a sickening way to lose: just watched that last shot again. Toure defended that as well as one could without committing a foul.
The way we lost sucked, but overall happiest I have been after a loss. J Jeff made a few iffy plays, but other than that, Toure found his stride, Momcilovic is hot, and hopefully Tamin isn't injured too bad. Freethow shooting kinda killed us, but they called many tacky fouls on us to get them in the bonus. Overall great game and nothing you can do about a lucky game winner
I was thinking earlier today. The goal now is to play 40 games. I am even OK if we end up 32-8. If we win today, that means we would have played 35 games going into NCAA, so have to play 5 more to get to 40. Five games puts you into the Final Four first game. Lose today and we are at 34, so need to get to the NCAA championship game to play a 40th game of the season.

Tip of the cap to Bradley. Toure played perfect defense on that shot. Great performance for the team. Milan needs to go nuclear again this year but this time in the Final 4. Best team since Fizer. Get it done.
That was one of the best games I can remember watching. Tamin and Toure hitting 3s now, I'll take it.

I just rewatched the 2nd half and the shot making in the last five or so minutes was just incredible by both teams. And against great defense. Unbelievably entertaining game
Spot on. We need to rest up and get everyone healthy. This game was a perfect set up for a deep run to the final 4. Go Cyclones....

Man that Milan run at the end of the first half was insane.
The last two or three minutes was like a strike and then a counter strike. Everyone was unconscious.
In last 13.5 minutes, Arizona was 13-17 including 4 three pointers from Dell'Orso
Iowa State was 10-22 including 4 threes from Milan, 1 three from Toure, 1 three from Jefferson and 1 three from Tamin. 7 of our 14 threes came in that stretch.
Arizona had three streaks of 4 misses in a row, we had two streaks of 5 misses in a row. We made 7 straight end of 1st half, start of 2nd. They made 6 straight when they first took the lead.
Hell of a game.
Cyclones should be a 2-seed so I hope that’s what they give us. Matchups/path are more important than whether we are a 2 or 3 as always. We play to the level we did the past 3.5 games it could be a fun run. Just hope we are still relatively healthy.
