i credit the summer soccer field workouts for the closeness. this group goes through it and goes through it together. they are a unit.

Am I to believe ASU only had 23 TOs?

And ISU had 8 TOs while no player on ASU’s team had more than 6?

It doesn’t add up.

It would be nice, but they could have gone 10-19 and still lost by 22 today, if my math is correct.

More about the turnovers, and scoring off of them will be the determining factor..

If ASU had any thoughts of bringing Hurley back, I know the rumors were out there about him already being gone, this was the nail in the coffin. What a bad performance all the way around. They didnt even look like they cared.

ASU is my second team (two sons and three stepsons are alumni). I have been rooting for ASU to lose this year so that they move on from Hurley. They need someone new who can bring some excitement. I guess at the home game against the University of Arizona this year, there were more Wildcat fans than Sun Devil fans.

He is going to get paid one way or another, not arguing with you, but saying they are not firing him when they are not renewing the contract is splitting hairs here.
Why would they wait till June, they will not, he knows that, and so does the school. Not renewed, fired it makes zero difference when his contract is up and he will not be coaching there next season. Bet the players are already being contacted about transferring.

Did you even read what I originally responded to? They were wondering if he would be coaching today since he was apparently fired. I said they would wait until the season is over this week and then inform him his contract was not being renewed instead of firing him when the season was still happening.

Missed shots don’t count as turnovers, but they may as well have been with how bad the looks were

Only problem with this game I had was leaving the starters in basically the whole game when we have 4 games in 4 days if we keep winning. Not sure why TJ don't sub guys out at the end early. He just never has

ASU has some pieces but they are completely uncoached. Do they ever practice together, or with a coach in the gym? Reminds me of the Wayne Morgan teams.

Diop could be all-world but looks like no one is working with him on defense, offense, or anything. Imagine what Green would do with him (assuming he is coachable).

Odum and Johnson too, the talent is there but apparently no effort to help them develop or learn.

They'll all be somewhere else next year I suppose.

Nobody played more than 31 minutes today.

If that number were 25 minutes it wouldn't make much difference.
