I would hope that every D1 BB player practices 3s at least a little bit. You never know when you will be stuck with the ball as the shot clock expires and you want every player to at least be able to draw iron so you have a chance for an offensive rebound to keep the possession going.

Reading between the lines of recent TJ comments on Pleta, it sounds like Pleta wants to expand his game (which I read to mean perhaps outside game) and TJ wants him to get the stuff down low right before talking about it.
