I've never looked into the depth of what it takes to run a program outside of assistant coaches. Wow! I think it's critically important to the kids (and their parents) who these people are. With so many kids coming in from the portal this year, many on their 2nd move, I think parents are going to be seeking stability and nurturing in the program so their son can finish here. My 2 cents.

I would venture to guess that these positions have been added over the past decade as CFP turns more into an NFL like operations. When I was in school from 2006 - 2010, I don't recall many programs having these kind of positions. But as the landscape has changed and become more competitive, I think these positions have been added. Some have always been there, like recruiting coordinators; but others like analytics are relatively new.
