A lot of us are pissed but is he wrong? IMO this was a no brainer for them
People were pissed because he talked up Iowa State and people thought he was an Iowa State fan and a fan of the little guys. He just liked Matt Campbell and is all for Blue Bloods.
If you peel back the cover he literally just praises teams who give him access and he’s gotten access at ISU a few times. He’s the biggest poser ever.

It was annoying, but time to let go and move on. Pate has been one of the few national media figures that has been kind and supportive of ISU. We can't change what happened, so let's make the most of what's next.

I am a pate guy. Not sure more anymore. Was he right that PSU should only target CMC, yeah. But it felt like he was courting our guy more than Pat Kraft was most of the time. He states on that video that he is an Iowa State fan, as well as a CMC fan but “been a cyclone fan since he was a kid”.
I mean yeah I hope and shout that all my favorite teams lose their competitive advantage. What a joke man. I’m done with Matt and I hope Penn State has nothing but disappointing seasons ahead of them. I like Matt as a guy who I was lucky enough to meet and have conversations with him on a few occasions. However I don’t want him to do better else where, which I know is an unpopular opinion around here for whatever reason.

It would have been fine if he didn't already prove he was another shill for the CFB elites. Now it just falls flat. Glad it took 3 days for him to give us a little blurb for an apology t the end of video for it. **** him. He's a fan, but I'm willing to bet he doesn't say a word about Iowa State for the next few years, and if he does, it's against us (since it will most likely be the CyHawk talking about Iowa).
