I put together a poll for favorite Thanksgiving food. I was limited to 10 options so I'm probably leaving out a few other common ones.

I voted pie but really it’s the first 6 items listed. Stuffing, green bean casserole and pumkin pie are the ones I usually only have around the holidays so those three in particular.

If you can see your pie, you don't have enough cool whip on it.

Picked 'other' because I like most of those things but like them almost more leftover.

I’m a stuffing guy. Love that juicy, wet, meat flavored bread. Something about it makes sense.

Also a big fan of top shelf bourbon on the rocks while sitting around watching sports on TV.

It's pretty much your typical sweet potato casserole, but she adds bourbon, pecans and some other things to taste. She never measures anything which makes it maddening to recreate. I swear I got tipsy just eating the potatoes one year.
Thats the best part of the holidays imo. I remember aunts and grandmas cooking Xmas/thanksgiving dinner measuring everything with their hearts

It sounds like you were living your best life that day.
