Tight end Ben Haulmark leaves Iowa State
I don't know much about him, but the coaches recruited him. He could have done nothing more than punt team blocking, but hate seeing guys leave. Not sure the staff could get someone else for this fall, but I have low expectations this season anyway. -

JJeff Injury Updates
In Highland school, I had a severe low ankle sprain. Trip to ER and crutches. Missed the game that night. No therapy but ice and ibuprofen and I was at practice Monday with a brace and tape wrapped. Just depends how severe.- FDCy83

Name your hot takes 2026 post tcu loss
We do not play well against physical teams. Several turnovers were ball slapped out of hands and most games would have been fouls. Big 12 physical, handsy teams run into trouble in the tournament when refs from other conferences call those as fouls. I heard last night from announcers comments...- FDCy83

***Iowa Pregame Thread***
ISU was 3 point Dawgs to KSU and won by 3 (should have been 10). We were 15.5 point favorites to USD and won by 48 (should have been 55). We are 3 point favorites to TOE. I think we win it. I hope we score early and often in first half and make them adjust to it, then run heavy in the second... -

I think as good as people seem to think KSU defense is, I think ISUs defense is very good as well and has stopped KSU last year. I see ISU by 2 scores, 27-17. -

Mid(conference)-Season Check-Up
Something needs to change, but at KU is not the place to make a change. We have 3 guards that would likely start on any team in the conference. But they don't really play well with all three on the court. I think a change for Saturday would be to start Watson and bring Jones off the bench...- FDCy83

UCF Post game thread

No turnovers for ISU. Will WV allow a punt block? I think the score will be ISU 24- WV 17. I think it will be a good game. Last week, I told a friend ISU 34-BU 21. I got the 3 and the 4 turned around. I hope I have the 2 and the 4 turned around this week, but I doubt it. -
