    *** 2025 College Football Playoff Rankings ***

It will be very interesting to see what happens if Bama loses. They have the best Win resume by far, but 3 losses should be a CFP deal breaker (especially in a crowded field of 1 and 2 loss teams). It's hard to punish them for making the SEC CG, but hat same logic should hold for a BYU if they...

    *** 2025 College Football Playoff Rankings ***

The game is about Wins and Losses and BYU has a damn good resume based on that. They've had depth of wins at 8+ win teams; which is a sign of how strong the middle of the Big 12 actually is this year. Much stronger than the pundits and voters give it credit for. The computer metrics all have...

    *** 2025 College Football Playoff Rankings ***

    For reference: Texas Tech: 1 11-win (BYU), 1 10-win (Utah), 1 9-win (Houston), & 1 6-win (KSU) Georgia: 1 11-win (Ole Miss), 2 9-wins (GT, Texas), 1 8-win (Tenn).........that's it. Tennessee also hasn't beat a team with a winning record fwiw. Lots of fluff in those 8 wins.

    *** 2025 College Football Playoff Rankings ***

Added losses and their current AP ranking since CFP rankings not out yet. (IU, Ohio St., Tech, & Georgia left out as clearly above the rest and 1 loss or less) In my tier it goes; Ole Miss/BYU/OU on par (OU 2 losses). BYU clearly deserves to get in, just based on Wins alone. Compare this OU...

    *** 2025 College Football Playoff Rankings ***

Blind CFP Resume Test. Based on quality wins (wins vs # of wins by team) Example: Team A has beaten one 11-win team, one 10-win team, two 8-win teams, and one 7-win team. # of losses ignored, but no 3 loss team is included. Ordered by highest win, then by most by tier. Take a guess at the...

    JTS Improvements - Want More

Georgia Lights - start at around 1:45. That's the light system most SEC schools now have. I've been to a couple night games at UGA, and in person it's pretty awesome. After living in ATL and visiting a number of SEC stadiums, I can honestly say the atmosphere at Jack Trice really isn't far...

    JTS Improvements - Want More

We need "SEC Lights" for the night games. Waukee NW even has them. Would have been amazing for that white out. Flashing Red after a score. That's a pretty low hanging fruit that is reasonable.

    Nashville-

The "wooo girls" as the locals call them will be in full force. Pedal taverns/buses/etc full of Bachelorette and lady retreats. Unfortunately, the Jersey and Chicgo bro bachelor parties caught on and quickly followed. Broadway is what it is, about 50 honky tonks bars, bright lights, all...

    Milwaukee Fan Guide

Ironically no, other than the narrow margin on trademark infringement :D ha, I kid! I did come up with the name and trademarked in 2013 (actually had to buy it from a Wine Company) Decent restaurant though and very close to where I grew up. I stopped in a few years back and it was packed. If...

Central Standard. Yep, I'm still an owner, but no longer active in the management and operation. Live in ATL now. Thanks for the shout out. We opened a new facility right in the heart of downton within walking distance of all the primary hotels east of the river. Good TVs, food, rooftop...

What the hell is Bowlsby thinking?!

Beating a dead horse, but obviously SEC wants 12, so they can get 4 and some years 5 into the Playoff. (25% of their new conf.) Massive $ at stake. OU/UT almost certainly joined based on that assumption. This arrangement would give the top tier brands (Florida/UGA/Bama/A&M/LSU/OU/UT)...

Report: OU & Texas reach out to join SEC

I mean it's not like ESPN and their mouthpieces have spent the last 10 years crafting a narrative to destabilize the Big12 or anything...... despite the ACC and SEC weak links providing just as bad of a competitve balance respectively.

COLUMN: What happens to Iowa State if the Big 12 implodes?

In theory, ESPN has an ~$750MM to $1B liability to the Big12 in contractual TV payouts over the next 4 years. UT/OU have a few years of TV revenue loss. To minimize that liability, I'm wondering if the TV execs (who seem to have unlimited power to dicatate these moves) are actively...

COLUMN: What happens to Iowa State if the Big 12 implodes?

If I'm Mizzou, Arkansas, Mississippi, & Mississippi State (maybe Kentucky/South Carolina/Vandy/Tennessee depending on how the new divisions would line up) I would think long and hard whether the incremental revenue is worth it. Inevitably, there will be programs that become doormats when you...
