Also: the fact that it’s Burkle OR Brahmer should say a lot about Burkle’s improvement.

The two transfer receivers were non factors. Have they been slowed by injury or just not at the top of the actual depth chart? ( I know the one they post doesn’t often reflect an accurate depiction)
Injury limited their practice early, hence why they are not on the depth chart yet. It takes a while to get proficient at a new offense and scheme with all new players around you. It may turn out that the younger players are a better option, the staff thinks so at this point, but don't draw any conclusions yet. I'm sure they'll have more opportunities this week.

I don't think any of the true freshmen played last week so this will be our first look at some of those guys. I expect to see Moore for sure. Hopefully Robinson will get on the field.
Jamo was a FS last year behind Coop, James SS behind Verdon.
Guessing familiarity had something to do with it.
That and the fact that Cummings-Coleman and Van Dinter at SS are freaks.

I assume the fast pass wristbands are back and in the same locations? Including the CYTown spot? I haven’t seen any Iowa state postings about it.
I’m pretty sure Cooper played CB exclusively against K State. They just finally updated the depth chart. He played well. We have two really good tackling CBs for starters.
I certainly respect what USD has done but how are they so high in all of these rankings when they replaced 16 of 22 starters and have a new coaching staff?
We could have easily beaten a ranked team by double digits on a neutral site last week so I’m expecting a comfortable win. Give me ISU -14.5 all day.

Yes. The AP poll that came out on 11 AUG was the "week 1" poll. The next poll, the "week 2" poll comes out after this weekend's games are done. And they will likely only list ISU's game against SD in the "last week" line for how ISU did in their last game. I can just about guarantee that there will be a voter or two who will have totally forgot that ISU even had a big win in week 0 when they are filling out their ballot.
(USD gets stuffed on a fourth down by CB and it cuts to commercial)
