Although Chad is super biased, it don't pay his bills to tell the Hawkeye Simpletons that the team will go 7-5.What ******* world is Chad living in thinking Iowa is going 11-1 let alone 10-2? Absolutely delusional especially for a reporter.
Yeah that’s true. To me it just seems like they’re going to be in the exact same boat as they were in last year but a little better at the QB position, worse at the RB position, and they play a harder schedule.Although Chad is super biased, it don't pay his bills to tell the Hawkeye Simpletons that the team will go 7-5.
I am the most homer fan in the world. And I think I could write less biased articles than Chad.

We haven’t won that game at Jack Trice since the Steele Jantz game. Iowa State has had better teams than Iowa multiple times since then and still lost the game. It’s not that outlandishBasically said "I just don't think Iowa State wins the Cyhawk, although they have the better team"
Travis Hines hates the Cyclones.
Don't forget the gaping hole in the LB position last year. The scheme must be amazing if walk ons can sort of hold things together. This point is curious to me because they had 5 one score games last year, but 2 of those games were one score because of a Rocco pick 6, and the KU game may have gone differently without a pick 6 as well. If both the record in 1 score games, and the amount of pick 6's regress to the mean, will this year really be that different than last year?
Maybe ive had too much kool aid and am much too optimistic
If Gronowski is not competent, Iowa will be missing a bowl gameYeah that’s true. To me it just seems like they’re going to be in the exact same boat as they were in last year but a little better at the QB position, worse at the RB position, and they play a harder schedule.
I think 8-4 is highly likely and 11-1 / 10-2 is just ridiculous. Using that logic and looking at Iowa’s schedule in regards to opponents, Chad believes Iowa is going to be the best or second best team in the Big 10 and a top 5-10 team in college football.
Alrighty then.
I love when @ChrisMWilliams said, "Could some please explain to me why Iowa's offense is so complicated? I'm not seeing it."Chad said that Iowa's offense last year would look a lot like "Kyle Shanahan and Brock Purdy's 49ers offense." The 2023 one that went to the superbowl. lol
We all know how that turned out.
Would love to see ISU win this game by 30-40 once in my lifetime but at this point i would just settle for a 4 or 5 year win streakWe haven’t won that game at Jack Trice since the Steele Jantz game. Yeah I would agree! What a prediction lol11-1 with that schedule gets them a bye in the CFP and probably the #1 or #2 seed. They would have won all but 1 of the following games... @ Iowa State, USC, Nebraska and Wisconsin (I know but it still matters to win there), home against Indiana, Oregon, Penn State and even Minnesota who on paper looks salty.
That would be an elite football team.

If a correct call paid out $10MM guaranteed, I'd bet he'd be at 8-4 or 7-5Chad picked Iowa to go 10-2. He thinks they could go 11-1.
I harp on it all the time but it is ******** that the Register has a fan covering Iowa and we have Hines who thinks he is too good to cover sports.
