I had it happen a year or so ago while at a open house thing at my kids school...that was fun.

On the road...
Does anyone have this issue with their jeans? Mine usually last about 6 months before the crotch in my jeans wears through. Anyone have a recommendation for some jeans that area resistant to this condition?
I have the same issue with the Express jeans I buy. They are the flexible ones and I know that's why there wear out quickly. It drives me crazy but I can't find another brand that fits me the way these do.

Wear out or blow out?

I resisted stretchy jeans for a while, but they are so much better in avoiding the catastrophic crotch tear.

Mine last more like 5-10 years but when they do break down it's either that hole right in the center of the crotch or holes in pocket areas where my phone/wallet/keys wear it out. I've been wearing same size 501s in a few different colors for like 25 years now haha.

Yes, I have this issue.

I use these for "work" pants. They are the best around and have an extra gusset built in.

For regular jeans I just buy some stretchy ones and resort to replacing them fairly often. I got some Lucky jeans from Costco or Sams (can't remember which) for like 30 bucks and they lasted a decent amount of time.

I wear shorts when it's warm out, even at my day job, so I'm ok replacing a couple 30 dollar pairs a year.

I don't have that problem, my jeans typically wear out in the seat at bottom of pockets.

Hayden Fry axiom "Scratch Where it Itches" isn't really good advice. You should really have listened to your mom's advice.;)

I get AE flex fit jeans and same damn issue, had one pair not last 3 months, usually never more than 6 or so.
