That site also has an AV (Approximate value stat) which kinda akin to WAR in baseball. Brady was an 11 where most elite QB are hitting upper teens to above 20 in their great seasons. Brady was 5th highest on his own team that year and 5 of the top 6 were all defensive guys.
Thank you. Ive been trying to make that point for like 3 years now. People act like Brady was throwing 50tds a season the moment he arrived. It wasnt the case at all. He was winning Super Bowls so I thought he was legit either way, but people seem to forget that he had to win 3 before anyone even put him in the same category as Manning. There were really 2 careers of Tom Brady. The year he threw 50 or whatever TDs and lost the SB was really the first year anyone put him in the same category as Manning. He was just kind of known as a "winner/game manager" on a team with elite defenses.

Other than Flagg, I have heard about maybe five guys, including the two top 10 picks that couldn't even get Rutgers in the tourney,

Rutgers had two top 10 NBA picks and finished 15-17 overall (8-12 in conference). Interesting...

I saw a great tweet yesterday that said ~ Evidently NBA GMs think they can scrape the Rutgers off these guys.

Duke with 3 top 10. Dukies have to be disappointed this year...a little.

My hot take is that Knueppel will be a better pro than Flagg.

That is scorching hot... Knueppel has tools that will make him a long time pro and a nice piece, but he does not have nearly the athleticism necessary to be a top 3-4 player on a title contending type team. This is a bad draft class and in a "normal" year he'd be end of the lottery or mid-first round.

The NBA should add a third round to this draft. Teams have to fill out G League spots and could use an extra pick. Plus so many international players make for so few college guys getting picked.

A lot of players can make more from NIL now than a rookie contract, especially second round money. It’s a safer bet to stay in school as long as you can and improve your draft stock. A lot of guys getting drafted tonight have either exhausted eligibility or are foreign players.
