Was he a 4th round pick? That’s still relatively high to completely cut ties with. Hopefully he gets a chance to heal and prove himself with the ravens

Do you guys think Charlie will make the final cut (injury reserve or however they do it)? Allen Lazard was out for 6 games with a similar sports hernia injury surgery in '20-21. This might put Kolar out until mid to late Sept.?

And the article said he had some of the same trouble at ISU, which also had surgery and was a bit "lingering". I did not know or remember this.

Good luck for Charlie. I think they keep him and allow for him to heal, then develop.
Overwhelming majority of guys in 4th round (or higher) I think make it to year 2. All depends how he looks coming off the injury and how good he is compared to their current TEs.

For all you Fantasy Football players does this mean Andrews's injury is more serious? Baltimore does love TEs.

Could mean bad news about Andrews. I hope Andrews, the human, the best in his recovery. But this is great news for Charlie, the player. Likely has been good. He is an athletic freak. He did have some really bad drops on Monday night vs the Saints. Charlie should get some run.

That's a good scenario to come back into for Kolar. The Ravens have a bye this week and then play Carolina.

A little more time to heal and then face a 2-7 team. The Panthers aren't necessarily bad on defense, but they're 2-7 for a reason.

Andrews was no go last week, don't know why or what for.

The previous game he went out at the end of the game. Can’t remember what for. Went to the injury tent, went into the locker room and then came back to the field with street clothes.

I don't know if the status of has anything to do with this. With is IR status, he only had 4 weeks to rehab before they risked losing him to another team.

Do I snag him for my dead in the water fantasy squad?
