I was there

Unfortunately, I was not there. Had tickets, but was unavoidably detained playing in the HS state semifinals 30 minutes away. ISU wasn’t the only good guys that won that day in dramatic fashion…….;)

We weren't there unfortunately. Decided to go to the Newton Dowling playoff game. Unfortunately Newton lost and consequently we chose the wrong game to attend. We have the ticket stuff though for ISU.

I miss paper tickets. They were an easy thing to keep after a big game.
I was a paper ticket collector nerd for every D1 football and basketball game and MLB, NFL, NHL and NBA game that I ever attended (which were a lot combined) until paper tickets stopped being a thing. I liked to pull them out and try to remember the event sometimes. I do realize how dorky that is.

I was at the 92 husker game. Was a FR in college. It was a crappy weather day and honestly, I went to watch Nebraska as much or more than ISU...just because they were a national power with a bunch of future pros. A lot of my friends and dorm mates skipped out. We toughed it out and smuggled booze in. In the end, I won't say I was on the goalpost, but I had 2 hands on it before the crowed movement pulled me down. I do remember that thing getting twisted around and when it snapped and fell, it broke some poor girl's leg.
I was on the cross bar but fell off and shortly after that the goal post came down. I remember seeing one of the uprights hit a girl square in the head.

I miss them as well. ISU sent out a commemorative ticket for the Jack Trice game against TCU two years ago. It would be interesting to see if there would be a market for them to produce a paper ticket and send to ticket holders for a small price.

The Pacers are advertising $20 commemorative tickets for the Finals games in Indy. For an extra $30 they’ll send you a display holder.
