I was there

I have the Big Peach framed after that game.
I'd have to look, to see if I have one of those in my collection. but I remember that ticket design. I was certainly there.

I miss paper tickets. They were an easy thing to keep after a big game.
I miss the Big Peach.

Been helping my parents move out of their house that they have been in for 30+ years. This has resulted in some interesting finds. Here are a couple of them.

I believe I've still got my ticket stub from that Nebraska game stashed away in my basement.

I was at the 1993 NCAAs. Probably have the same ticket stub in an unmarked tote in the basement of my parents’ house.

I was at the 92 husker game. Was a FR in college. It was a crappy weather day and honestly, I went to watch Nebraska as much or more than ISU...just because they were a national power with a bunch of future pros. A lot of my friends and dorm mates skipped out. We toughed it out and smuggled booze in. In the end, I won't say I was on the goalpost, but I had 2 hands on it before the crowed movement pulled me down. I do remember that thing getting twisted around and when it snapped and fell, it broke some poor girl's leg.

I’ve been at Ames & Lincoln to witness Cyclone wins, ditto vs Hawkeyes. Personally, Nebraska was the bigger rival due to being a national powerhouse and longtime conference foe. Hawkeyes were and continue to be overblown on a national level supported by a bizarre worshipful fan base. Truthfully, the demise of the old Big 8 with OU & NU being annually relevant in the Top 10 was the best for me and it’s been slowly downhill since. I have many artifacts from those years.
