Good to know.

It'll be interesting to see where the "single" games will be played.

Last season's once-only for ISU (in addition to BU & OSU) were @ASU, BYU, @Houston, TCU, @Tech, Utah and @West Virginia.

One could assume those will be flipped, but probably no guarantee.

Home/away for 24-25 that are singlets in 25-26: Arizona, Cincinnati, K-State, UCF. (I think that's all of them).

I know its not this year but for those of you that plan, we chatted with Pollard in Tempe before the ASU game and told him how much we liked the Sat/Monday away setup. He said that there's a real good chance we're @ BYU and @ Utah for the same scenario in 26-27.

Oh, looks like we might get this scenario this year!

Does anyone else feel like we got shafted having to go to Arizona, BYU, and K-State (to an extent) and then not getting one of them at home?

That's a fair trade for not having to go to Lubbock, Houston and Morgantown. Additionally, squirrely things happen to good teams in Orlando.

BYU is a drag because they should be right there at the top of the league and our games against them last year were pretty amazing. But Arizona needed a miracle to beat us and Kstate's home court isn't anything we're afraid of.

Just for kicks, what's everyone's ideal home/away/both schedule?

Mine:

Home : Arizona, BYU, WVU, Tech, Houston, Baylor - best teams to knock off in Hilton
Away : Cincy, Colorado, TCU, UT, ASU, UCF - venues/teams that scare me the least
Both: KU, Kstate, OSU - oldest rivals

It would be nice if they put the matchups that are occuring twice for each pair of teams in the first couple weeks of the season and again in the last two weeks of the seaon. Put all of the one offs generally in the middle.

Last year some of ISU's rematches were pretty well spread out (CU games 1 & 15,) some were decently spread out (UA 9 & 18, KSU 10 & 20), but one rematch was less than 3 weeks apart (KU 5 & 11 - only 19 days apart).

Based on that, for 2025-26, it might be something like this?

Countless arrangements would fit your preference, of course, this is just a sample.

(Bolded games are the home/away teams):

Baylor
at Oklahoma State
Arizona State
at Kansas
Houston
at Utah
at BYU
Colorado
at Cincinnati
UCF
at Arizona
Texas Tech
at TCU
Kansas
at Baylor

West Virginia
at Kansas State

Oklahoma State

—> I placed KSU and WVU toward the end, rivalry games from Big 8 and the “10-member round-robin.”

—> Placement of UU/BYU might not sync calendar-wise with a Saturday/Monday (like was done w/ ASU/UA last season), but it makes sense for that pair to be grouped.
