NBA: *** 2024 NBA thread ***

$$$$. Keeps the news and people talking about the NBA for another day in between games.
They have also been playing nice with the WNBA to not compete for eyeballs. They have a financial interest in seeing that league do well so it makes sense but it's annoying to have 3 days off, I'm pretty sure they go to 2 games in between for some of the games. It should be consistent every year.

The Stanley Cup finals are also going on and the US Open next week. Lots to compete with.

Well, the replay of the last 10 minutes of game 1 was just as good as the last 10 minutes of game 1!

Maybe better. Amazing!

For some reason I have issues with reddit app so any reddit links I can't get.
The Reddit app is hit or miss, RiF was great until Reddit out priced their APIs for 3rd parties. But should be able to open in incognito if the app doesn't work

This is a really old article but has interesting statistics in it regarding game winners. Had no idea how much higher of a % of game winners Melo hit compared to other players.
Bo Outlaw for the win :D

I'm a lifelong Bulls fan, but Indiana became my 2nd favorite team when they drafted Hoiberg. Both teams have had their share of Cyclones, and the Bulls even had two coaches from ISU, but Indiana has had far more success with ISU guys because of Tinsley and Haliburton.

really solid start by the pacers. just have to hang around until the 4th and then win by out-clutching a team that is young and will be playing tight late.
