6/38 with three walks. He’s looked out of sync.

Honestly I’d of put him around 7th and just move everyone up a spot till he got back in a groove.
Happ is struggling. Not sure I would put Tucker in the leadoff spot and bump PCA to the 3 or 4. Putting more pressure on PCA in big moments.

But you’re ok putting a guy with a .209 OBP since coming back in front of your best hitters?
Baseball is a long season with ups and downs. A month ago people wanted to get rid of Dansby. I don't want Tucker and Seiya being 1 and 2. You now are counting on PCA, Kelly, and Dansby to drive in runs from your 3-5 slots. PCA becomes swing happy in pressure situations and will not take walks.
They don't have another great option on this team to hit leadoff without disrupting the batting order.

I know you disagree with me, that’s fine. I’m just saying he’s looked out of sorts since he’s been back. I’d of moved him down rather than putting an out in front of your best hitters 80% of the time. But that’s just my opinion

Happ tends to be a streaky hitter. My main concern is that he’s not entirely healthy, and that’s contributing to him being out of sorts. Tough to say.

Pretty pivotal game for Brown today. I for one see the value in missing the top of the order in your first inning thrown. But if it doesn’t work he’s definitely headed west on I 80.

I would send Brown to Iowa and say you aren’t coming back until you develop an effective third pitch.

Some really weak at bats there after getting PCA on second. Cubs have stalled out after getting guys on second multiple times today.
