A couple theories I have on this are

1. Waters ties to the Omaha area
2. Nebraska hasn't recruited locally well for a long time
3. His teammate and WR is already committed to us
4. Local kids realize how insufferable Nebby fans can be

I read that he’s the point guard on his high school basketball team too. Just saying.

In his media session yesterday, he basically belittles Iowa State's recruiting style and playing in the Big 10 over Big 12.

This is the same **** their coaching staff & fans said when they bolted from the Big 12 to become members of the Big 10. How did their recruiting hold up then? I see no difference now, especially with this imbecile now leading it.

I also like to think our staff has additional motivation (not that it's needed, but still) to put these mf's in their place. If so, I'm all here for it.

Certainly a plus but not shocking. Tamin was a stud FB player, Waters was the best BB player and was the shortstop for his teams at SA. Not to mention the senior year SA had 3 kids who ended up at South Dakota State for FB, 1 and Northwest Missouri State for baseball and obviously K State
Athletes gonna athlete.

TJ Tampa can't be left out, his high school BB highlights are insane.

LOL. The ignorant bugeaters are going to eat him alive if they struggle.

Someone as old as me help me remember when Danny Mac pulled some highly rated kid out of Nebraska and they freaked. Was he a TE that ended up on the OL?

Now we take what we want. I am sure a lot of that is due to the arrogance of Rhule.
Could have been Stevie Hicks. He was a 4 star RB from Omaha.

It’s simpler than that. They didn’t offer because they already have Raiola’s kid brother.

Oh, and ISU is just that awesome.

I assume you mean quarterbacks because obviously in football we've had a ton of guys stay for 4 years---Noel, Verdon, Purchase, Kolar, Allen, etc, etc. It seems VERY silly to complain about that in regards to our football program.

Second, the reason the QBs haven't stayed longer than 2 years is BECAUSE of Purdy and Rocco being successful. Not a ton of programs have 4 year starters at QB. It seems pretty obvious that is a good thing and not a problem like you insinuate. If Purdy and Rocco had been misses then you'd be complaining about that.
Whatever you need to tell yourself to feel better. This isn't a knock on ISU, Campbell, or anything else. It's just the reality of college sports in 2025. Its probably 50/50 at best he's going to be at ISU in 2 years. Because of Rocco and Purdy? God forbid they have some competition. How the **** does anyone get excited about commits anymore? Especially at skill positions

Congratulations on successfully sliding into “dumb post” territory! Yay!

Thank you. It means everything coming from the delusional part of the fan base who doesn't see reality. Like I said it's a nice commit according to the "expert rankings". Otherwise I'll be excited about him when he is a starter.
