WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

While I think Mulkey is a Grade A a**hole and does not align with my leadership philosophy, I can’t imagine having to deal with inane questions day in and day out. So much stupidity they have to respond to.
I guess I think it's a pretty valid question. Last year's LSU team was literally the DREAM TEAM with Reese and Van Lith and Flau'jae and Morrow. Mulkey had by far the best assemblage of WBB talent in the country, and they didn't make it to the Final Four. This year, similar situation, LSU has as much if not more talent on their roster than anyone else in the country, and they fail to make the Final Four. I would think that's something Mulkey should have to answer for because both seasons are pretty colossal failures.

Agree. That's what I was getting at with my first comment. You can answer that question without being an a**hole. The fact that the reporter has never been to a FF is not relevant. But that's her being a jerk. You can't just answer the question, you have to make the other person seem small.

That being said, the reporters asked 1,000 dumb questions in a given day and I'm sure it gets tiring. It doesn't excuse being a jerk, but I can empathize with having to answer all these questions only minutes after a tough loss.

Sometimes believe it or not you can have TO MUCH talent. Players have to be able to play as a team and when everyone feels they are the ONE chemistry can breaks down. I saw that at times watching them this year. They would get behind and certain players would try to be the hero and it was to many one on the other team not a team against team.

I think it's also worth noting that the reporter was freaking joking when he said it was bad. Kim is a miserable person and all round piece of trash.

I am rooting for TCU, albeit quietly. My current cold kept me home today, and I have said about a dozen words all day.

There has been some low scoring 1st Half in some of these games. 23-21 Texas at the Half.

Van Lith-fueled comeback to bring it to 23-21 Texas at half. Texas defense has been stifling TCU, but they're not exactly shooting well either. Harmon playing well, Booker struggling.
