It was hard to do because Jackson and Jefferson are not as good defensively as BRE and Ward. Some posters on this board posted some nasty things about BRE (not a P5 player, can’t wait until he is gone, etc.) but we seriously missed his perimeter and interior defense this year.

I hated the BRE haters. Wonder if they have a different perspective now.

ZRF was not the only BRE hater. Many thought Jackson was a huge upgrade over BRE but was he? About same points per game but worse defensively.

I had a love/hate relationship with BRE. I think his first year was hate, second year I started to warm up to what he did, third year i understood his game and he had improved a lot

No I'd guess it's all ripping on ISU and their staff, etc. in a convo with Houston fans with their own grievances.
