2025-2025 Transfer Portal Needs, Wants, Updates

Whew. Good to be wrong here.

Gee, thanks. Funny how I nailed Chittum and no one said a word.

WTF I’d rather be called a moron.
You posted we may be losing Yonger because of something that was on Hawkeye Report. You should lose your posting privileges for a while with that kind of nonsense.

That dude smells like a rat.

Yeah I'd really like to hear some incoming guys maybe put a little water on this fire. Our departures (since there have been so many) is the talk of the sport right now and would be nice to get that attention off of us and have it be a positive one.
Practically everybody in the real wrestling circles (FRL, Willie, etc.) are of the same mind: The guys leaving may not have made the lineup but the grass isn't always greener. If anything, possible transfers are more interested.

We want casual fans to tune in so we can't discredited them asking questions about what's going on and right now they have the perspective of the program is on fire.

Do the majority of wrestling fans know that isn't the case yes. But that's not my point.

I worry about 6-7 year seniors.

If they have already AA, many probably looking for $$$. When they get to the backside at NCAA, many are not that motivated. Many of their bodies are also beat up.

Even the 6-7 year guys that have not AA and probably not getting huge paycheck. Their bodies are beat up. Bad luck, maybe. But all 3 of our 6-7 years transfers (Schuyler, Feldkamp and Bockman) with all hurting bad by NCAA.

I would like to concentrate on younger guys that have more than 1 year left.

Whether or not Casey or Chittum are leaving won’t impact casual fans when we roll out a top 10 team at home duals next year

Teemer, Parco, Figs, Alirez might also fit that picture.

Looking at some of the guys in the portal (officially)

I think Jordan Williams is making a mistake leaving Little Rock. He was very questionable at Oklahoma and gassed in a lot of matches. He looked like a new guy in Little Rock and now he is leaving.

Nasir Bailey, I am not sure what is going on with him. He looked real good last year, but gassed in a lot of matches this year. Regressed a lot. Not sure why Williams and Bailey went opposite directions at Little Rock.

I don't know but I wonder if Bailey has trouble with his weight. He is pretty tall. In his match w/Evan Frost at NCAAs, he scored first TD then cut Frost loose (giving up 1st prd point) without making any attempt to ride. Looked like a mistake. Then he lost.

Maybe. If true, probably means Bailey and Williams are not a package deal

Like Caliendo who has been a great pick up for the Hawks

Don't tell anyone, but I actually like watching that hawkeye wrestle. Seems like a good dude.
