That same walk on is out there instead of our 3rd team all Big 12 point guard. We are just playing with a poor deck of cards, have been for awhile, and it just isn't sustainable. The only thing I could blame the coaching staff for right now is why don't we have more and better guards to pick up the slack from Tamin and Gilbert. Kelderman is a good story, but he shouldn't have to be put into these situations.

To be clear, I agree with your point. My point is there is no attempt at any adjustments that may at compensate slightly.

Honestly, the season has shown we never were a final 4 roster.

Everyone deals with injuries. Yes, we've had more than our share, but even the periods we were only down 1 guy we looked like a significantly worse team. Meanwhile true contenders like Houston and Auburn have played through games down players and maintained a higher level.

I somewhat disagree. We have shown the ability to play championship caliber defense. The margins were pretty small if we lost a scorer or 2 though. You are going to have off nights shooting. You make it up with D, rebounding, and finding a way to get to the line more than your opponent

Vegas had us favored by 6 for some reason.

The depth is the interchangeable kind but everyone needs to be playing well and be healthy.
