I don’t dislike Lawson, but him flipping off Checo last year, taking his seat, then proceeding to be the worst driver on the grid is pretty good karma

Cocky and flipping off a better driver than him pissed me off. It’s clear Red Bull promoted the wrong guy. It’s pretty amazing everyone who is not an expert and even experts said that should be yuki’s ride. Yet Helmet thinks he knows everything and made the wrong choice

Haas came out of nowhere to have two in the top ten.

Car's underside was hitting the track too much, they try to estimate how much wear there will be over a race weekend.
Crazy how close they both were to being legal, Charles was 1kg underweight, and Lewis had .5mm too much wear.
Ocon was asking if the car was broke in P1 because it was handling so poorly. Maybe they fixed some of the big problems.
Red Bull doesn’t have the pace, will be interesting to see if they can get it straightened out without Newey. McLaren has it going on so far.
To be fair to Lawson, Max can barely handle the car. How long has it been since Max has been on pole? I think it's been since the summer break last year since he put it on pole. That car might be a massive shitbox but Max is so good he's been covering up for it and Checo might have been doing the same last year.
Was looking at the drivers standing this morning, Charles and Lewis are both behind Lance Stroll. And in the team standings they're tied with Williams.
What's funny about Haas is... they still haven't fixed the car, some serious luck, and some great strategy by the team. i was SHOCKED to see Ollie last damn near 30 laps on mediums and was still making ground.
I think Ollie is going to be very good eventually. Give him 2-3 years of suffering at HAAS and he'll be in Maranello.
