How did they screw the car up so bad in the off season? That’s crazy. Meanwhile Hulk is scoring point for Sauber in his first race after them both getting a point last year.

Before the cost cap it was even crazier. I read somewhere a full Indycar program (pre-covid numbers) was around $3 million. The engines alone for the current gen hybrid V6 at that same time was in the neighborhood of $13-$14 million. The team budget for one of the big teams was like $350 million from what I remember in that article.
It's insane. All of this is what makes it the best motorsport organization in the world. Nothing spared, the best drivers, huge ramifications for every decision with no room for error. That Cadillac number is just insane.
Yeah, they brought up and engineer to replace Steiner. Seems like this is the type of problem you expect not to have when you do that.
So nervous for the MBB game today it took me a minute to check but Hamilton sprint pole???? I will be watching the replay of quali after work. I don't think he's washed but really expected a larger learning curve to get the single lap pace going for Lewis.
Lewis and Fernando definitely have to be close to washed. They are my age and I about blew out my knee hopping 6 inches at the trampoline park this week.
Qualifying was kind of chaotic, everyone was making mistakes but Lewis was a lot faster than Charles all session.
Lewis and Max next to each other with the Mclarens chasing should make for a good sprint.
Great qualifying. Mix it up a bit. Please put Yuki in the Red Bull. Lawson is way out of his league
How many races does Lawson get before he’s cut. Can’t imagine they’re gonna put up with DNFs and not making it out of Q3 for very long
How many did they give Pierre and Albon? I think right around 9. However, they both did better than Lawson.
Also, max is by far and away the best driver. It’s not close. How many quality drivers can’t even come close to him in the exact same car. He never has an off day. Even when they are talking Ferrari and McLaren he makes the front row.
Somewhere Checo is laughing his ass off. It’s pretty crazy how bad he is. I get it, Max is a special talent, but he isn’t so good that any other qualified driver in that car shouldn’t be top 10.
That’s a champion knowing to keep P2 close enough that when Piastri went for Max he’d drive away from both. Lewis and Ferrari are legit.
Max got within reach once and then Lewis just ran away the rest of the race. If I'm Ferrari, Charles also having decent pace late not in clean air is also really promising.
Yuki is laughing also for not giving him that ride. Lawson is worse than Sergio. Kim Antonelli is the next Max. Kid is the real deal.
