Coworker is a Wisconsin graduate. I told him yesterday the final score will be 94-90. Wasn’t too far off

I'm surrounded by them although many are pretty fairweather/tourney time fans.

Most don't have a clue about any teams outside of the B1G and I would get weird looks if I mentioned that WI didn't guard the ball very well.

'Well, the B1G plays really good defense' is usually their response because the BTN told them so.

Wonder if conference records will be brought up at all tomorrow? Probably will focus on the total wins without mentioning the losses if I know how TV execs work.

I’d be happy with 2. Baylor would be an amazing upset to get though.

I work in an office of a lot of Iowa grads, so my office bracket is basically picking the big 12 to win almost every game. I'm currently winning the pool and in like the 99.7th percentile. I picked Baylor to beat Duke because I thought whatshisnuts for Duke was injured.

If Baylor pulls off the upset I'm basically guaranteed to win the bracket... and more importantly, beat the iowa fans.

Was always telling when Big 12 would get 7 or 8 teams in (when we had 10 f*cking teams) and they would never mention %.

Whichever conference has the strongest pre-conference season will basically always get more teams in, even though usually the middle-of-the-pack teams aren't all that fantastic compared to the middle/upper level teams from the other conferences. This honestly also benefited the big 12 the last few years, where the .500 big 12 teams basically always made the tournament and didn't necessarily do all that well once they got there.

I'm not surprised at all to see the SEC mid-level teams struggling. Auburn, Florida, and to a lesser extent Tennessee and Alabama are really good teams still, and could easily win the tournament.

I'm surprised how badly the ACC is doing. The only win is Duke beating the Sisters of the Poor.

I don’t see how Purdue guards will be able to handle Houston and their defense. I don’t see it being very close

We could have been a sneaky 11-0 had they played to their level from November/December, although I’m not sure it would have gotten much oxygen with the BIG starting 10-0

I watched the 2nd half of the Wisconsin-BYU game with a couple of really drunk UW grads. Had a blast. I was officially neutral but kept their hopes up during the downfall. I suppose I am going to Hell.

Yeah, this really sucks. The #1 seed playing a true road game against a good Purdue team is unfortunate. Then essentially another road game in the regional final. Seems like something that could only happen to a Big 12 team.
